Holiday parties are full of tempting treats. It’s OK to indulge in your seasonal favorites (and you should!), but if you’re not careful, “just one bite” of a dessert can quickly turn into an entire plate’s worth of sugar-filled snacks.

Here at Nutrafol, we think it’s important to enjoy your holidays as guilt-free as possible. That’s why we collaborated with Julia Perez, a certified holistic nutritionist, to create our own delicious holiday treats that won’t leave you in a sugar coma or feeling bad about your holiday food choices. Not only are these dark chocolate, coconut, and peppermint-coated holiday energy bites filled with fiber and protein to keep you satisfied, they also have a special ingredient for your hair.
The hair-boosting ingredient
Each batch of holiday bites contains two full doses of Nutrafol — a natural supplement that helps support hair growth. Nutrafol’s ingredients include horsetail, a botanical that naturally contains silica, which is known to increase tensile strength of hair, and reduce brittleness from within. It also has proper doses of vitamins like biotin, along with ashwagandha, tocotrienols, curcumin, and saw palmetto — all of which show clinical efficacy for use in healthy hair growth. Nutrafol is also fortified with marine collagen, which is known to promote diffusion of nutrients in the scalp.
The best part? Our capsules are designed to open cleanly and seamlessly so you can easily empty them into your dessert. (For extra help with balancing your sugar metabolism, you can also consider taking Nutrafol’s Sugar Balance to promote healthy glucose response.)
Whip up a batch of Nutrafol holiday energy bites before your next party, and watch them disappear from the dessert table.
Recipe: Nutrafol Holiday Energy BitesMakes 12-14 Servings
1 very ripe banana
1 ¾ cups gluten-free rolled oats
3 tbsp. pure maple syrup
¼ cup dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
8 Nutrafol (remove from capsules)
¼ cup dried cranberries
1 bar dark chocolate
In a large bowl, mash the banana, then mix in the rolled oats and maple syrup. Fold in the chocolate chips, Nutrafol, and dried cranberries. Shape mixture with your hands, pressing hard to form 1 inch-thick balls. (Tip: Add more syrup to help ingredients stick together better, if needed.)
In a separate bowl, heat up the dark chocolate bar in the microwave. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the bites, then garnish with coconut flakes and crushed peppermint. Enjoy right away, or store in the refrigerator until your holiday party.
