Let’s Give Pride A Home

This June celebrates a landmark Pride, as 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of The Stonewall riots – the uprising that was a turning point in the gay rights movement – in New York City’s Greenwich Village.

Nutrafol is celebrating everyone who grows proudly and boldly for Pride.

Nutrafol is honored to partner with Barba Men’s Grooming Boutique and the AIDS Healthcare Foundation to support #WhatAboutUs, a new initiative supporting LGBTQ homeless youth. More than 40% of NYC’s homeless identify as LGBTQ+, with 1 in 4 losing a home after coming out. Currently, there are no federal programs designed to meet their needs nor protect them against discrimination while accessing federally funded programs. #WhatAboutUs is a movement to highlight and bring support to those most often neglected in our society. Join in to help us bring light to our homeless LGBTQ youth and remind them that they’re not alone.

Our friends at Barba will donate 25% of proceeds during Pride week to New Alternatives NYC, an organization dedicated to improving the self-sufficiency of LGBTQ+ homeless youth by supporting their gradual move from shelter living to adult independence.

“We believe everyone has the right to celebrate this milestone in gay history,” shared Barba co-owner JP Gomez.
